After completing his undergraduate studies in Law at Carleton University (B.A.), Robert received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Stirling, Scotland, in 2015. In pursuit of further knowledge, Robert completed a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2017. Prior to joining the Gene Colman Family Law Centre, Robert split his articles at two prominent civil litigation law firms and subsequently established an independent practice focused on family law. Robert has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court.

While at Osgoode Hall Law School, Robert was an active volunteer with the Family Law Project, assisting self-represented litigants through the legal system and providing legal information pertaining to custody, access and support issues. This experience solidified Robert’s desire to assist those embroiled in the family law system.

Robert is very sensitive to the stress that family law clients experience and he does everything possible to help clients to reduce stress and to carry on with their lives.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys spending time outdoors either camping or kayaking and taking on a new DIY project.
