Following the completion of her Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Riley earned her Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University in June 2023.

Before becoming part of the Gene C. Colman Family Law Centre team, Riley interned at a criminal law firm in New York City during the summer of 2021, where she worked on a high-profile criminal case and wrongful conviction matters. In 2022, she interned at a real estate law firm specializing in residential and commercial transactions. Riley’s interest in family law developed during her final year of law school when she completed a four-month placement at Gene C. Colman Family Law Centre. Riley anticipates her call to the Ontario bar in 2024.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, staying active through exercise, and is an avid hockey fan.
