Men and Families Conference 2022: An International Interdisciplinary Conference

Thursday, September 15 and Friday, September 16, 2022

Gene C. Colman and Brian Ludmer are co-sponsors of what promises to be a historic conference.

Colman and Ludmer presentations will be in the Time Slot of Friday, Sept. 16 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. in the Wellesley Room.

Colman’s presentation: The Newly Expanded Definitions of “Family Violence” in the Divorce Act.

Ludmer’s presentation: How Family Law Deals with Coercive Control, Gatekeeping, Enmeshment, False Allegations, and Alienation

You won’t want to miss these two important and informative sessions.  So sign up now for the entire conference and attend as much or as little of the conference as you choose.  The array of speakers is truly impressive.  The registration fee for community members is very moderate and includes two full meals.  Come and exchange ideas with community members, academics and practitioners.

This Men and Families conference will collectively discuss research, practice, and policy on men’s and boys’ experiences with violence and victimization.  This multidisciplinary conference will also address issues of fatherhood, father involvement, and fathers’ relationships with their families.

With two keynote speakers, three panel sessions, and 61 presentations from 21 countries and regions across six continents, we hope that you can attend this momentous event! There are a few more spots for in-person attendance. Online attendance is also available.
